About The CJP Band

The CJP Band is the brainchild of songwriter, bassist and producer Christopher Pedley. The sound is crafted by heavyweight musicians, all based in the New Forest — and their shared chemistry shapes an expansive, raw take on disco, funk and soul.

They record together in a vibey room, to vintage tape machines through valve preamps, a handmade plate reverb and a reverb chamber. The music is tactile and human — and it translates straight into an electrifying live show.

Expect driving dancefloor burners: heavyweight drums, deep Fender precision basslines, flamboyant percussion, and ripping guitar and sax solos.
